History Of Bhrama Rishi Vasishtar Nadi Astrology
Bhrama Rishi Vasishtar
Before, during an ancient period, Brahma called upon the sage Vasishta, his son, and instructed him to go to the earthly realm to alleviate the suffering of humans. He mentioned that during the transition from one yuga (era) to another, humans would face various difficulties such as planetary afflictions, ancestral curses, and the consequences of past actions. Brahma advised Vasishta to provide assistance to those humans who suffered greatly during that time by offering solutions and guidance. Vasishta, along with his power and knowledge, guided humans through the Kritha Yuga, Thretha Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and into the Kali Yuga.
At the beginning of the Kali Yuga, Lord Kailasanatha, after completing severe penance, revealed the form of Bhairava, an aspect of Lord Shiva, who is the deity of the nine planets. This form of Bhairava offers remedies and divine interventions to mitigate the sufferings caused by planetary afflictions, curses, diseases, debts, and other challenges faced by humans.
Vasishta, being the chief among the seven sages, instructed Vasishta Rishi to guide and assist humans in alleviating their sufferings by providing remedies and divine interventions. Vasishta Rishi, along with other celestial beings, holds the knowledge of divine grace and wisdom to help humans overcome their hardships.
Similarly, during the transition from the Kritha Yuga to the Kali Yuga, Lord Narayana, along with his consort Lakshmi, appeared to provide guidance and blessings for the betterment of human life. Vasishta Maharishi, the first among the sages, possessed the divine grace and knowledge bestowed upon him by Lord Narayana to help humans overcome their difficulties.
Vasishta Maharishi, through his divine wisdom, wrote scriptures and provided solutions to alleviate the sufferings of humans. These scriptures contained teachings on astrology, medicine, astronomy, and other sciences to guide humans in leading a righteous life. The teachings were inscribed on palm leaves, bark, and stones, and were spread across various countries by scholars and translators who translated them into different languages.
In the ancient times, the Chola dynasty preserved these scriptures and later, during the reign of King Sarabhoji, scholars who excelled in Sanskrit translated them into various languages, making them accessible to a wider audience. The knowledge encompassed in these scriptures helped individuals from all walks of life, including the poor, the uneducated, rulers, artists, and leaders, to seek guidance and solutions for their problems.
In the present day, we continue to follow the traditional practices of Vasishta Maharishi in the field of astrology through the teachings and guidance provided by our ancestors. We uphold the legacy of Vasishta Maharishi by preserving and sharing the ancient scriptures that offer profound insights and remedies for human welfare.
